Options:

Option Menu:
Proxy Setting:
If you are behind a firewall or proxy server you will need to set up the proxy in order to register or do any submissions.
If you can not register or submit and you are not sure if you are on a proxy server contact your ISP for details on your connection.
The most common proxy servers or firewalls will not require a username and password if that is the case you can just leave them blank.

Database Update: Selecting the Update Database Feature in the Option Menu will start the automatic update of the software's database.
Once the database has been downloaded you will be prompted to load the current database into the software. This database update can be done without needing to restart the program.

Time Out Port:
Setting your time outs and ports can increase or decrease your submission success or failure.
Common settings are if you are on a dial-up modem a good range would be from 5-20 ports depending on how good your connection is. If you are on a cable or DSL you can run the program at full steam.
If you notice a number of time outs try slowing down your ports until you have very few time outs or even none. If that will not work increase your time outs until you see the submissions going through.
Always remember the faster you are submitting the more bandwidth you are using and if you use up all of your bandwidth your submissions will either never reach the site or their response will not reach you so slow it down until you find you a steady flow.
We have found that 20 ports on a 56k dial-up works quite well and is still Lightning-Fast.
